About Reiki Healing
Reiki
Reiki combines the Japanese and Chinese word-characters of "rei" (spiritual or supernatural) and "ki" (vital energy).
Reiki utilises palm healing or hands-on-body healing in which a practitioner places hands lightly on or over a patient's body to move energy.
It is a safe, non-invasive and passive process that assists the body's natural healing ability and promotes wellbeing.
It works with the individual’s energy body which then promotes health in the physical body.
At the root of Reiki is that disease is caused by imbalances of vital energy in the body and that correcting these imbalances promotes better health and wellbeing.
Reiki Principle (1)
Just for today, I will not be angry.
Anger is an intense emotional response to a situation. Anger can create severe blockages in one's energy flow within the body.
It is an inner adversary which can accumulate in the body over years and may manifest itself in many forms within the body if left untreated.
Harmony of mind and body will not be possible if anger is not treated and let go.
Reiki Principle (2)
Just for today, I will not worry.
Worry is an emotion that focuses on possible future outcomes.
It creates unnecessary stress and angst as we spend time pondering on something that may not even eventuate.
The associated stress leads to an imbalance of the mind, body and spirit by becoming resident in the body.
Reiki Principle (3)
Just for today, I will be grateful.
True gratefulness is an emotion straight from the heart, it brings Joy to your Soul.
When we sincerely grateful and compassionate, negative energies just melt away from within.
Just smiling and utilising positive affirmations on yourself or others, greatly increases your wellbeing and health levels.
Learn to keep it simple and be happy.
Reiki Principle (4)
Just for today, I will do my work honestly.
The Soul will truly be at peace when we earn a true and respectful living.
Striving to have a noble life brings richness to heart and much contentment within.
Reiki Principle (5)
Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing.
Karmatic law tells that “what goes around comes around”, that is, “we get back whatever we give.”
Being kind and showing compassion and love to all living things will have it being returned back to you for a more resolute existence.
This can also be enhanced by respecting your parents and your elders.
